There is nothing better than beautiful light.  These photos are ones that I took just for fun, but also because I’ve been dying to use my macro lens.  Hope you enjoy!

I’ll be back with some photos from a couple of family sessions a little later. 🙂

Mendocino County Photographer {Feliz Cumpleaños}

Have you ever attended a quinceanera? I hadn’t until last weekend. It was beautiful and so rich in culture. I was beyond honored to be a part of it from behind my lens.  Now I would like to share them with you.

{Mendocino County Family Photographer} The “C” Family

I had the great honor of photographing The C Family at the Botanical Gardens this past weekend. Their 3 month old baby boy is just the most darlilng little guy.  He has just discovered his hands and was showing off his new talent of holding them. Here are some of my favorites from our session.

My Favorites Models

My children are my favorite to photograph.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy capturing memories for other people, but theres something about capturing our own memories that far surpases any joy that comes from photographing anything else.

These little people came into our lives quickly and captured our hearts completely from the moment we laid eyes on them.

Even when they are grown and have their own children, we will not grow weary of capturing memories with them.

Runaway Train

I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful couple last Saturday.  Nichole of Onelife Photography and her husband asked me to take some photos of them down by our local train station. Any reason to get my camera out and play on trains is a good enough reason to me. I was happy to oblige. Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot.

I thoroughly enjoy the love that is felt when looking at this couple. Don’t you?  I have to post one more before I sign off because I want you all to see why we chose the location.

Love is a runaway train!

Unitl next time!
